Basement finishing in Bucks County, PA

A finished basement is the cheapest square footage you will ever add to your house, as long as it is done in the right order. Moisture first, framing second, finishes last. Skip that order and you are tearing it out in three years.

We frame, insulate, run electric, hang and finish drywall, install flooring and trim, and build out whatever the room needs to be — a media room, a gym, a guest suite with a full bath, an office, or a playroom that keeps the toys off your first floor.

We start by looking at how the space handles water and air, because that determines everything else. If there is a moisture issue, you will hear about it before you spend a dollar on drywall.

Basement finishing questions

How long does finishing a basement take?

Four to eight weeks for most basements, depending on square footage and whether a bathroom is part of the scope.

What if my basement gets damp?

We address that first. Finishing over a moisture problem destroys the work, so if we see one we tell you what it will take to correct it before framing starts.

Do I need a permit to finish a basement?

Most townships require one, particularly when electric, plumbing, or egress is involved. We tell you what your township requires and handle the filing.

Can you add a bathroom down there?

Yes. Whether it needs a pump depends on where your main line sits. We check that before quoting.
